Oct 09, 2005 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian industry superannuation funds have hired a US law firm, Grant & Eisenhofer, to commence legal action against News
Corporation. The main plaintiffs are a group of industry and public sector funds in the UK, the UK and the Netherlands representing corporate governance groups. The groups,
along with the Australian industry funds, are asking the Delaware Chancery Court to issue an injunction against News Corporation to stop it extending a "poison pill" defence against takeover unless it gains shareholder approval, as News Corporation had previously agreed to do....
