Coopers' Lion vote faces delay.

shareholders to be delayed. It argued in the Federal Court in Melbourne on 5 October 2005 that the Adelaide company's 117 shareholders would not be able to assess the value of its

$A352 million hostile takeover offer without access to a formal bid and target statements.Coopers has called a meeting for 20 October to vote on a proposal to scrap Lion Nathan's

right to buy shares in the company without directors' approval.
