Pit bulls grounded.
Australasian Business Intelligence, October, 2005

Oct 04, 2005 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Qantas and subsidiary Jetstar have joined the backlash against pit bull terriers in
Australia. The two airlines have firmly placed bans on transporting the dogs, due to problems with pit bulls escaping in planes' cargo holds and running amok. One Qantas employee says any dog that looks remotely like a pit bull will not be accepted. Rival Virgin Blue will fly pit bulls if they look docile and are in metal or wooden cages. The Victorian Government may wipe out the dogs by legislating to have all pit bulls in the state sterilised.
