Australasian Business Intelligence, October, 2005

Oct 03, 2005 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Education experts will visit 50 locations across Australia beginning in October 2005 to identify gifted children. The program is

being co-ordinated by Miraca Gross, professor of gifted children at the University of New South Wales. Professor Gross says that as many as ten per cent of children fall into

this category, and they can be found anywhere, not just in middle-class areas. Few people, for example, have ever considered

that indigenous children might be gifted. The program has funding available to support extra nurturing for talented children.
