Oct 02, 2005 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian airline, Qantas, owns the budget carrier, Jetstar. Qantas CEO, Geoff Dixon, says that Qantas wants to take Jetstar into overseas holiday markets where Qantas does not operate. He wants to expand the Jetstar brand internationally, including the Asian
market. Qantas has a 49 stake in Jetstar Asia, with the rest held by Singaporean investors.
