Nov 22, 2005 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Gary Singer, Melbourne's deputy Lord Mayor and a solicitor, is suspected of further
misconduct in business. The Simon Parsons lawyer has already been ordered to pay $A18,000 in costs and fines by Victoria's
Legal Profession Tribunal in relation to his actions in withholding over $A150,000 in cheques. It has come to light that the Australian Taxation Office has also investigated Singer, and found that his law firm has not paid several employees' full superannuation contributions over at least three financial years.
