Harbour HQ adds depth to marine research.

Nov 22, 2005 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- In late November 2005, the Sydney Harbour Institute of Marine Science (SHIMS) is officially open for business. The University of Technology, Sydney, the Macquarie University and University of New South Wales (NSW) have signed a lease to use a site at Chowder Bay to conduct research into marine species and into the interaction between land and sea along the harbour. All three universities will contribute equally to management costs at the institute.
