Virgin Blue dividend tipped.

Australasian Business Intelligence, November, 2005

Nov 15, 2005 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian airline, Virgin Blue, is expected to declare its first dividend. It is thought that the company could announce a dividend of

as high as $A0.20 a share. This could help Patrick Corporation, which owns 62.4 per cent of the airline, defend itself against a takeover bid by Toll Holdings. Virgin Blue has also announced its frequent flyer scheme, in association with Virgin Atlantic and Emirates. The scheme will involve two co-

branded credit cards with National Australia Bank. Virgin's share price rose by $A0.07 to close at $A1.67 on 15 November 2005.
