Trujillo wants more profit from Foxtel.

Nov 20, 2005 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Telstra believes that its half-owned subsidiary Foxtel is not performing optimally. Sol Trujillo, CEO of the Australian telco, has stated the pay TV company is an important part of Telstra's business, and that in recent years, Foxtel has under-performed. Trujillo wants to use the latest technological advancements in order to boost Foxtel's growth. He says he

has already discussed the matter with News Corporation and Publishing & Broadcasting, which hold one-quarter each of Foxtel, and they share Telstra's enthusiasm for expanding

the company.
