Planners told: be charitable.
Australasian Business Intelligence, November, 2005
Byline: Chris Wright
Nov 17, 2005 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Financial planners must find new ways to build trust in the community, says Coca-Cola Amatil chairman, David Gonski. In an address to the Financial Planning Association's conference on 17 November 2005 he suggested that planners set up partnerships with non- profit organisations. While the community might be prepared to tolerate greed and "sloppy" work by others, this is not the case with the financial planning industry.
Association chair, Kathryn Greiner, said planners must strive to develop respect for the profession.
