Setting the pace on free computer recycling.

Jan 29, 2006 (Environmental Business - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Computer company, Dell, will undertake a pilot program providing Australia's first free recycling of old computers. Under the program, which will cover all brands of computers, individuals and companies who want to dispose of their old PCs and acquire new ones will have the opportunity to hand in their old machines for recycling. The pilot program will apply to customers who purchase one of two Dell brands. Joe Kramer, Dell's MD for Australasia, claims the company aims to take a leadership role in the provision of more environmentally friendly computers.
