Jan 24, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Macquarie University's economics and financial studies division will provide financial support to student services at the college. In the wake of the Australian Government's new voluntary student unionism
laws, to come into effect from July 2006, the Students at Macquarie (SAM) body will receive $A1.35 million for the 2006 second semester, while Macquarie University Sport & Recreation
(MUSR) will get $A1.01 million. In 2007, SAM will receive $A2.95 million and MUSR will be allocated $A2.07 million from the cash surplus. The funds will help support the institution's sporting facilities,...
