Jan 17, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Share trading by company insiders is a major indicator of future company performance.
Research by Goldman Sachs JBWere supports this common knowledge. Goldman says that insiders do not trade non-public information. However, they are in a better position to interpret available knowledge. Goldman has identified 10 stocks whose directors have been trading in the last three months. The
research also shows that company insiders make better returns when trading their own stocks. Their timing for selling stocks is better than for buying.
