Google searches for hardware lift.

Jan 04, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- US-based internet search engine giant Google is rumoured to be planning to offer computer hardware products. While Google has given no indications as to the veracity of the rumours, speculation has suggested that it intends to launch its own personal computer, which would use a Google operating system
rather than the ubiquitous Microsoft Windows.Robert Beck of Bear Stearns also suggested in a recent research report that the product would be a device that connects household appliances to Google's servers via the internet. Beck called it the "Google Cube".
