Feb 14, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Macquarie University has cancelled its course on Anglo-American constitutional history.
The course was taught by legal academic, Andrew Fraser, whose views on race and social conflict have been deemed contentious.
Fraser was suspended from his position with the university in 2005, amid fears that action by racist and anti-racist lobbyists
posed a threat to student safety. Fraser recently stated that it is not possible to teach US constitutional history without
addressing racial issues.
