Listed trusts favoured as a haven from volatility.

Feb 07, 2006 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Analysts are predicting an increase in the flow of funds into listed Australian property trusts in 2006. Maxim Asset Management
investment director, Winston Sammut, says investors are likely to become more cautious as the year progresses. The interim reporting season for property trusts began on 7 February, with JP Morgan predicting average distribution growth of 5.6 per cent on a weighted basis. The broker says the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards will have the biggest impact on sector performance.
