Fairfax Digital makes move to Darling Island.

Mar 22, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Fairfax Digital's move to the Pyrmont peninsula may signal a shift for all of John Fairfax Holdings's Sydney operations.

Fairfax Digital is the first tenant to sign up for space in Mirvac's new Darling Island office project. It is rumoured to be taking a 4,500 sq m lease. John Fairfax only recently signed a 12-year lease on its current premises in Darling Park, but is known to be dissatisfied with its rent costs.Departure from Darling Park would require John Fairfax to sub-let its 17,000 sq m space there.
