Tax workers flock back to university.

Mar 19, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- An increasing number of Australian taxation professionals are undertaking postgraduate tax courses. Postgraduate qualifications can advance careers and increase salaries. Other participants aim to keep up with new developments as taxation legislation has become more complex. Atax, the University of New South Wales tax school, has introduced a master of international taxation. Other universities offer tax courses, while

professional associations run practical training course and many firms provide in- house training.
