AFTA to spend $200K on crisis seminars for agents.

Mar 07, 2006 (Travel Week - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian travel agents will be offered training in dealing with crises in 2006. The

Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) will spend $A200 million on a series of seminars which will assist agents to examine their business for areas of vulnerability in

time of crisis and provide advice on action. The funding is part of $A600,000 given to AFTA by Qantas Airways in 2004. The first funds were used for seminars on the implementation of service fees in 2005.
