Mar 07, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian-listed Just Group has formed an alliance with a South African retailer, Pepkor, and will open five Jay Jays outlets
in South Africa. Two of the clothing stores are scheduled to open in March 2006, with the group anticipating that it will take about six months to establish a foothold in the nation. Just MD, Howard McDonald, describes the plans as a "low-risk, toe-in-the-water strategy". Pepkor will advise on suitable locations for the Jay Jays stores.
