Foods make the nerves go bananas.

Apr 26, 2006 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian researchers have found that potassium can cause nerve damage in kidney failure patients. Researchers at the University of New South Wales have linked too much potassium in the diet to nerve damage commonly suffered by patients with renal failure. The researchers found that lower levels of potassium in the blood improved nerve function. Popular foods such as bananas, apricots, peanuts, sultanas and soybeans contain high levels of potassium.
