Analysts bite fingernails as prices lift again.

Apr 26, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The price of copper broke through $US7,000 a tonne for the first time on 26 April 2006. Zinc and nickel prices also reached new records, marking a new phase in the ongoing commodities super-cycle. Analysts including those at Macquarie Bank and Goldman Sachs JBWere are becoming increasingly nervous and expect a market correction. When that will happen they cannot say. It could be sparked by a cutback in China's rate of economic growth, but even then most commentators predict only a temporary halt.
