Tax camp: it all adds up to a good time.
Australasian Business Intelligence, April, 2006

Apr 20, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- KPMG's tax camp for graduate recruits helps new employees to "hit the ground running". The six-day intensive training camp aims to dispel any complacency recruits may have regarding their roles with the accounting firm. However, camp locations tend to be "tolerable" areas such as the Blue Mountains or the goldfields region in Victoria, and sessions are also held allowing for networking and the development of a "collegiate atmosphere". Ernst & Young runs a similar program for new employees, while Deloitte prefers to hold a two-day induction and to run a series of shorter workshops and events throughout the year.
