Apr 13, 2006 (Money Management - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The financial services industry has welcomed the results of a recent shadow shopping survey. Ahmed Fahour, the CEO of the National Australia Bank, said the results of the survey, conducted by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, reflect the improvement in the quality of advice. The Financial Planning Association stressed the link between unlawful advice and conflicts of interest. Richard Gilbert, the CEO of the Investment & Financial Services Association, expressed his satisfaction with the finding that only five per cent of consumers were dissatisfied with the advice.
