Angry Drake "reports" Woolies to ACCC.

Australasian Business Intelligence, April, 2006

Apr 10, 2006 (Food Week - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has received a complaint against Woolworths. Roger Drake, the MD of Drake Foodmarkets, complained that the larger retailer engaged in "combat activity" in response to a sale announced by his company. Drake distributed colour catalogues promoting a one-day sale at its stores in South Australia. Woolworths then issued a two-page catalogue promoting a sale to be held on the same day. Woolworths advertised 12 lines, seven of which were cheaper than in Drakes' catalogues.
