Members boost Finsia products.

Apr 11, 2006 (Independent Financial Adviser - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Finsia was created via the 2005 merger of the Securities Institute of Australia and the Australasian Institute of Banking & Finance. The financial services educator has reported a 30 per cent rise in new members in 2005. The Australian group recorded a $A1 million surplus for the year. The number of students to enrol in Finsia's diploma and postgraduate courses was 13 per cent higher than in 2004, at 4,500. Finsia has alliances with the Financial Planning Association, the Securities & Derivatives Association and the Australian Stock Exchange.
