Life or death decision for premature babies.

Apr 05, 2006 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There are to be new state guidelines in New South Wales (NSW) about very young premature babies. Drawn up by medical experts, they
state that babies born at 23 weeks of pregnancy or earlier should normally be allowed to die naturally. Babies born at 24 weeks or later should be given intensive care treatment. Dr Kei Lui, an expert in this field, said that the guidelines will provide certainty for medical staff and parents of
