May 30, 2006 (B&T Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There is evidence in Australia that media literacy programs help young people with body image. A researcher from Flinders University in Adelaide educated a total of 540 Year 8 students in Adelaide about how the media manipulates images.
