AIIA chief to leave.

May 29, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) is seeking a successor to CEO Rob Durie. Peter Kazacos, the AIIA's chairman, will assume an executive role until a successor is appointed, but says he will not seek the post himself. Durie has decided not to renew his contract, which expires at the end of 2006. He joined the AIIA in 1989, and became CEO in 1999. He intends to work for the AIIA as a consultant.
