Aussie oil, gas juniors do well in US.

May 29, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian oil and gas companies are succeeding in the US. Jeff Clarke, of Marion Energy, says that well-prepared Australian companies can do as well as US companies. There are about 30 Australian-listed companies drilling in the US. Marion Energy's third oil well began production in May 2006. Clarke says investors are starting to realise the potential of the companies. There are many opportunities in the US, with hundreds of abandoned oil and gas fields available.
