Are online video ads the new TVC?

May 25, 2006 (B&T Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Online video advertisements are very popular with consumers, according to a US study released in 2006. The Online Publishers Association "Online Video Viewing Study" indicates that 70 of those surveyed had seen this kind of ad, and that 44 had taken some action as a result - either visiting a web site, seeking further information, visiting a store to see the product, taking out a subscription or making a purchase. This interest is reflected in the Australian "Where the Bloody Hell Are You?" tourism campaign.
