May 16, 2006 (Money Management - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Acadian Asset Management has won the Money Management/IMCA Fund Manager of the Year Award in the emerging markets/Asia (ex Japan) category. Aberdeen Asset Management and Lazard Asset Management were finalists in the same category. Richard Barry, managing director or Acadian Singapore, says the fund uses a combination of bottom-up stock selection and top-down country valuations in its analysis of prospective investments.
