Turnaround Tom to park with Paperlinx.
Australasian Business Intelligence, May, 2006
Byline: Blair Speedy
May 14, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The CEO of Australian paper maker, PaperlinX, plans to remain with the company for some time. Tom Park joined the company in February 2004. He plans to stay for about five years but the short tenure of his last two jobs has raised speculation that he could leave soon. The company faces excess global capacity, high input costs and a high Australian dollar. However, Park is confident that the strategy of closures, plant upgrades and acquisitions will lift earnings.
