Optus partners with Disney for net TV.

May 09, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian telco, Optus, has entered a partnership with Walt Disney Internet Group for online TV. Disney will rearrange its international content for a new online TV channel for Optus's customers. The channel will provide streamed music, music videos, interactive games, movie trailers, short TV segments, and traditional content. Broadband subscribers will receive the content free from July 2006, while standard download charges will apply to mobile content. The deal will not include films, but Disney is considering the launch of a movie service.
