May 09, 2006 (Tax Notes International - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Investors in Argentina's developing biofuels sector are to receive tax breaks. The country's law establishes that by 2010, biodiesel must account for five per cent of diesel fuel and the same proportion of ethanol must be combined with gasoline. New biodiesel facilities have already been built by some large companies. Spain's Repsol, for instance, is opening a $US30 million plant near Buenos Aires.
