Talent management presents HR opportunity.
Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2006
Jun 13, 2006 (Benchmarking HR - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A white paper has been prepared by Development Dimensions International (DDI) and the Economist Intelligence Unit. It is claimed in the paper that CEOs are devoting up to 20 per cent of their time to talent management. This creates opportunities for human resources (HR) staff to strengthen their relationship with management. Bruce Watt, the MD of DDI Australia, stresses the need to ensure CEOs obtain effective strategic support in their talent management activities. Each of the seven CEOs interviewed for the white paper devoted at least 30 per cent of their time to talent management.
