Jun 04, 2006 (Northern Territory News - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Executive chairman Denis Waddell says Tanami Gold's Coyote gold mine in the Northern Territory is a reward for 12 years of uncertainty. He said work on the Tanami Desert mine, which began operations in May 2006, started with exploration in 1994 and passed through many stages of doubt that production would ever happen. Tanami Gold expects to produce 60,000 ounces in its first year of operation, increasing to 100,000 ounces.
