Hackers in VoIP phone fraud stole 10 million free minutes, says FBI.

Jun 12, 2006 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- An illegal internet telephone operation has been detected in the US. The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested two men who hacked into the computers of voice over internet protocol (VoIP) telephone service providers. They sold over 10 million minutes of discounted calls and routed them through the unsuspecting firms. The fraud occurred between November 2004 and May 2006. One of the men has been charged with wire fraud and hacking.
