Jun 01, 2006 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A survey by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association suggests gender and marital status play a significant role in mobile telephone use. Men exhibited a preference for Hutchison Telecommunication's "3" network, while women like Telstra, which could in part be explained by Hutchison's association with new third-generation technology.
