IIA maps out broadband ambitions.

Jul 24, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australia's Internet Industry Association (IIA) plans to establish a "vision" for the broadband industry for the next four years. The targets to be defined include factors such as per capita usage of broadband services, as well as internet services in regional Australia. Peter Coroneos, the CEO of the IIA, says the organisation has consulted with the internet industry regarding the issue of broadband targets. The targets will be formally announced in Melbourne on 31 July 2006.
