Workforce planning comes of age.

Aug 23, 2006 (Human Resources - ABIX via COMTEX) -- US companies are learning to operate in a business environment characterised by an aging and shrinking workforce. Research carried out in the US shows that strategic workforce planning is now accepted as an essential part of corporate activities. The Conference Board states in its report, titled the "Strategic Workforce Planning: Forecasting Human Capital Needs to Execute Business Strategy", that strategic workforce planning is about having the right people in the right place at the right time and at the right price.
