Aug 17, 2006 (AFR Smart Investor - ABIX via COMTEX) -- BT Financial Group is one of the winners of the "AFR Smart Investor" Blue Ribbon Awards 2006. The group won in the category of Australian small-cap shares (unit trusts and personal super). The BT Smaller Companies Fund returned 26.81 per cent in 2005-06 against a rise of 25.48 per cent in the S&P/ASX 200 Small Ordinaries index. Noel Webster, a portfolio manage at BT, says the fund's biggest holding are United Group, Transfield, Worley, Primary Health Care, WHK, and Iress Market Technology.
