Aug 17, 2006 (AFR Smart Investor - ABIX via COMTEX) -- BT Financial Group is one of the winners of the "AFR Smart Investor" Blue Ribbon Awards 2006. The group won in the category of Australian large cap shares (unit trusts). The BT Australian Share fund returned 26.28 per cent in 2005-06 against a rise of 23.93 per cent in the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation index. Troy Angus, portfolio manager for large cap companies, says the fund has substantial holdings in BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ANZ Banking Group, and Westpac.
