Glowing prospects for ERA.

Australasian Business Intelligence, August, 2006

Byline: Philip Rennie

Aug 11, 2006 (BRW - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There are currently around 15 companies on the Australian Stock Exchange whose main aim is uranium exploration. However, all firms are still very much in the "hopeful" category as regards actual mines. Therefore, investors wishing to invest in an actual producing uranium miner may wish to consider Energy Resources of Australia (ERA). ERA, which is 68.4 per cent owned by Rio Tinto, operates the Ranger mine in the Northern Territory. Its share price has been quite volatile in the year to early August 2006, ranging from a low of $A9.65 to a high of $A17.99.
