Few switch super funds as returns stay strong.

Aug 10, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Roy Morgan Research has released research on superannuation in August 2006. Between 1 January and 31 March 2006, super funds actually switched fell to 4.5 per cent, compared with a switching rate of 5.2 per cent between 1 July and 30 September 2005. Meanwhile, in July 2006 the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) criticised AMP Financial Planning for recommending switching to its own super funds in 93 per cent of cases, but Roy Morgan Research found that AMP had a net super switching outflow of 2.9 per cent.
