Fox Interactive expected to keep leading the pack.

Aug 09, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Global mass media company, News Corporation, foresees growth through its Fox Interactive Media business. News became serious about competing in the internet market in 2005. It paid $US1.2 billion for social portal, MySpace, and gaming site, IGN. MySpace signed its 100 millionth registered user on 8 August 2006. News has negotiated a $US900 million ($A1.2 billion) search and advertising deal with search engine, Google. News chairman, Rupert Murdoch, said that the deal meant that Fox Interactive would easily reach its forecast of revenue of $US500 million in 2007.
