CBA caught in terrorism funding alert.

Sep 26, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) claims to be powerless over a controversial charity's bank account. CBA asserts that it cannot close the Indonesian account of Medical Emergency Rescue Committee, also known as MER-C, because no government has officially named it as a terrorism-linked organisation.
