Sep 19, 2006 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Consumer protection agencies have offered warnings about work-at-home offers promising untold riches. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) successfully completed legal action against the trading firm Resume Services for "false and misleading" business plan claims in the week ending 15 September 2006. Although Consumer Affairs Victoria's Patrice Smith concedes some job offers are legitimate, there are many offers which prove to be money laundering operations or small-scale "envelope-stuffing schemes", such as those of Katobi Business Solutions and Monjenka Marketing.
