Sep 14, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Kumar Ramakrishna, of Nanyang Technological University, says Australian businesses can contribute to the "war on terror". He says that, while corporations should ensure that they invest adequately in physical security measures, they also need to consider the "political dimension" of their operations and on developing corporate behaviour aimed at discouraging radicalism. Ramakrishna says Australian businesses need to devise non-discriminatory employment policies, should treat the communities in which they operate with respect and should avoid providing payments to corrupt governments.
