Australasian Business Intelligence, September, 2006

Sep 14, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- National Australia Bank's (NAB) restructuring program has resulted in top-level staff turnover issues. In September 2006 the bank is looking for a new executive to be in charge of mortgage broker relationship management. Previously Michael Lawrence controlled both this area and back-office operations related to brokered loans, but he resigned when NAB decided to split his role in two. Roughly one-fifth of NAB's loans come through brokers. At least three other top executives have departed recently.
